Prioritizing SEO tasks for your fashion brand is so underrated.

I recently found around 1,000 opportunities for a clothing brand that I'm working with.

If I blindly attack that list of tasks, I'm going to spend A LOT of time on tasks that won't move the needle.

Instead, I prioritized them based on which tasks are going to have the biggest impact on their traffic and revenue.

For example, "optimizing alt text" isn't going to be at the top of my list. You're just not going to see real results from that.

Creating new content, building links, and upgrading existing content for our biggest keywords will always be at the top of the list though.

It's not enough to have an audit done to find "issues". 

You need to know which issues/opportunities are actually worth attacking.

When implementing SEO for your fashion brand, it's so important that you're prioritizing your efforts.

You have limited resources, so making sure you're focusing on the pages and tasks that will actually move the needle is so important. 

Try to do everything, and you do nothing.

You need to be hyper-focused in a specific area.

Pick out your 5-10 most valuable collection pages/keywords and focus on optimizing your website for those until you're #1.

Once you're #1, move on to the next set of 5-10 pages.

This is the only way to see meaningful SEO results for your fashion brand.
