Plena Healthcare

Commenced in December 2018 with Plena Healthcare (formerly known as WorkXtra) as a Site Lead Physiotherapist, being the lead clinician at a 120 bed aged care facility, delivering clinical Physiotherapy services, and being responsible for overall service quality and compliance. 

Progressed into Team Leader role in early 2019, providing clinical and operational support to a team of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists across the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Townsville, and the greater Brisbane area.

Promoted into current QLD Services Manager role in mid-2019, overseeing large scale clinical operations management and employee management of teams of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Allied Health Assistants across residential aged care facilities and community and disability service regions in Queensland. Other duties and key achievements include:
- Operate as key customer contact for large scale Residential Aged Care provider's Queensland and national portfolios collaborating on allied health service delivery, quality, compliance, safety, and risk. 
- Line-manage Team Leaders and drive their engagement, professional development, and maintaining operational and clinical excellence within industry-leading Allied Health service delivery.
- Recruitment and retention of QLD staff, with nationally-leading eNPS scores noting management support as a primary influencer. 
- Drove QLD and national implementation of award-winning Allied Health therapy service model within large scale Residential Aged Care portfolios following AN-ACC funding reform in late-2022.
- Worked as Subject Matter Expert for Residential Aged Care Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy on a large scale systems transition project, designing processes, completing system testing, providing training and upskilling, and monitoring implementation post-launch.

Commenced as a new graduate Physiotherapist in December 2012 completing clinical services with aged care, community, and disability clients. 
Worked as a Student Placement Coordinator organising student placements with universities in Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. 
Worked as a Cluster Link (Team Leader) leading a team of clinical Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists and providing clinical and operational support. 
Worked in Residential Aged Care support and advisory team roles on quality improvement initiatives in aged care service delivery, including auditing, upskilling, quality, and risk management.

Over 11 years working in clinical service delivery, operations management, and customer engagement in Allied Health services in Queensland.

Currently leading Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Allied Health Assistant QLD services for Australia's largest mobile health provider. 

I am particularly committed to continuous improvement in customer experience and employee engagement to optimise outcomes for vulnerable, disadvantaged, and elderly care recipients.

Outside of work, you'll find me spending time at the dog park with my wife and 2 energetic dogs, having brunch and coffee with family and friends, playing golf (not very well...), and supporting the greatest football team ever - the mighty Brisbane Broncos!
