Responsible for further developing the EDUCARE site and building the strategic roadmap for global medical education digital platforms for the Neuromodulation Division within Boston Scientific. This leadership position offers more opportunities to drive the division expansion in the digital and simulated spaces to elevate Medical Education.

Primary focus is leading a team of Med Ed Specialists all with varying roles and responsibilities. This role provides me a broader understanding of the NMD business, the overall industry, plus internal processes and systems. One goal of many is to explore new ways to operate at the most optimal levels across the organization.

Associate Director of Digital Medical Education, Neuromodulation Business Unit

Led the Neuromodulation Business Unit in project development, strategy, execution, and management of the new online medical education platform, EDUCARE. This comprehensive site offers online training, learning, and clinically relevant resources for Healthcare Professionals worldwide.

Guided medical education content development and strategy plans in conjunction with subject matter experts in all four Neuromod therapies (Pain & Brain). The main objective was to grow and expand our reach and to evolve our digital presence and positively impact the Med Ed space.

This leadership position provided continuous opportunities to learn, collaborate, and evolve with cross-functional key stakeholders in Neuromod and also across all Boston Scientific Business Units globally.

Senior Manager, Medical Education, Neuromod Business Unit Lead for EDUCARE

Pioneered and executed a multitude of digital, simulated, and e-learning initiatives for the Medical Education Department. This role focused exclusively on Digital Resources and Projects in the U.S. and some international endeavors as well.

Med Ed Manager II, Digital Resources & Projects, U.S.

Established course curriculum, learning objectives and training agendas for new and established products and procedures. Interfaced with senior management to ensure education and clinical training programs aligned with company goals. Managed area budget in collaboration with national funding. 

Executed and maintained provider consulting agreements. Organized cadaver surgical training for physicians and educational workshops for health care providers. Led digital education and e-learning initiative for Clinical Education.

Medical Education Manager I, Northeast Sales Area

Specialized in Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) sales to Pain Management Physicians, Neurosurgeons and Orthopedic Spine Surgeons. Educated, supported and cared for patients regularly. Partnered with Pain Specialists to achieve optimal patient outcomes during SCS trial phase. Managed a Clinical Specialist, coached through challenges, provided professional development opportunities and motivated to ensure strong performance.

Presented technical, scientific and product related information to potential and current customers. Provided recent product data and approved indications to ensure appropriate use of products.
