Do you want a fulfilling career in Tech Sales? I've learned that it's all about 3 things and I'm sharing this knowledge here on LinkedIn. After being laid off during the Covid pandemic, I started a new career in software sales. As the first sales hire at a startup, I helped build the team and sales processes before moving to the software company Seismic in 2022. After my first few years in SaaS sales, during which I tried many things to improve my skills, I learned that successful sellers excel at 3 fundamental things: - The focus on their customers' problems - They ask the right questions - They are good listeners Everything else is unimportant if you don't master these basics. Unfortunately, few companies provide adequate training for new salespeople to learn these things, and many fail as a result. That's why I've made it my mission to perfect these 3 skills and share everything I learn here on LinkedIn and in my Sales Career Podcast.
