Oh hi there random profile viewer, I’m Ubong Bassey. I don’t know exactly what made you click on my profile but whatever it was, it got you curious didn’t it? I mean it made you click on my profile and scroll to the about section just to know more about who this “Ubong” guy is. So I’ll tell you. A while ago, I was on a path to becoming a Software developer. I was attending classes, staying up late for exams, getting frustrated when I found out a semi-colon was the reason my code didn’t work. You know? Typical coding lifestyle. Until I found this strange thing called “copywriting.” Like most people, I thought it had something to do with law (copyright). I soon found out how wrong I was. This copywriting thing was far more powerful than I thought. I could influence people’s actions with mere words and that intrigued me. So I dived deeper into it. I ended up studying everything about it, reading the best copy I could possibly find, learning from some of the top marketers/copywriters(you’ll find some of them if you scroll to the education section below) and ultimately practising as much as I could. Eventually, I got hooked on it and software development has now become a thing of the past. Fast forward several months later, I now help online coaches and high-ticket business owners—who already have a quality email list or are looking to start building one— fill their calendars with more clients for their programs. Although software development is a distant memory, some of the skills I gained there transition nicely into copywriting. Like my ability to be analytical and concise when researching your target audience. Those skills coupled with my expertise (gained from top marketers as I mentioned above and my past client experiences) will be on full display when you choose to work with me. I’ll wrap this up now.
