i) Long term planning and development of the academic programs of the Business
Program.
(ii) Formulation and periodic revision of the rules &amp; regulations specific to the
Business Program, Student and Teacher handbooks in consultation and with
approval of the board or CEO
(iii) To supervise the development and evolution of the institution's policies in
consultation with the CEO and the board while keeping in view the changing
market dynamics.
(iv) To develop and set up the Business external degree program of College de Paris,
UOL and NCUK business and finance program.
(v) To ensure and fulfill degree requirements in terms of teaching hours, course
completion in the stipulated time frame by the faculty members.
(vi) To help in hiring the coordinator for the registration of students with the UOL
Business degree programs, College de Paris, and NCUK.
(vii) To provide training to the academic support staff in the processes and
procedures of registration of students for the UOL, College de Paris, N CUK.
(viii) To assist/ liaison/ coordinate on behalf of the institute with UOL Business,
College de Paris and NCUK program local/ international representatives.
(ix) To help recruit good academic quality students from schools, colleges, and
tuition centers.
(x) To ensure the Business and Finance external degree program students fulfill all
necessary and mandatory requirements for the completion of the UOL, College
de Paris and NCUK degree program.
(xi) To hold counseling sessions to ensure students, teachers, and academic support
staff is up to date with any changes in the degree course requirements.
(xii) To keep a strict check, monitor and supervise business faculty members to
ensure teaching hours, quality of instruction in classrooms, tests, and examination
formats are being followed as per the UOL, College de Paris, and NCUK external
degree program.

1. The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) is to be headed by the Director QEC and will be reporting directly to the Pro-Rector. He is to be the correspondent with the outside bodies.

2. QEC is responsible for promoting public confidence that the quality and standards of the award of degrees are enhanced and safeguarded.

3. QEC is responsible for the review of quality standards and the quality of teaching and learning in each subject area.

4. QEC is responsible for the review of academic affiliations with other institutions in terms of effective management of standards and quality of programs.

5. QEC is responsible for defining clear and explicit standards as points of reference to the reviews to be carried out. It should also help the employees to know as to what they could expect from candidates.

6. QEC is responsible to develop qualifications framework by setting out the attributes and abilities that can be expected from the holder of a qualification, i.e. Bachelors, Bachelor with Honors, Master’s, M. Phil., and Doctoral.

7. QEC is responsible to develop program specifications. These are standard set of information clarifying what knowledge, understanding, skills and other attributes a student will have developed on successfully completing a specific program.

8. QEC is responsible to develop quality assurance processes and methods of evaluation to affirm that the quality of provision and the standard of awards are being maintained and to foster curriculum, subject and staff development, together with research and other scholarly activities.

9. QEC is responsible to ensure that the university’s quality assurance procedures are designed to fit in with the arrangements in place nationally for maintaining and improving the quality of Higher Education.
