Swapcard is an event app and matchmaking platform for virtual, in-person, and hybrid events, powered by Artificial Intelligence. We help large scale and premium event organizers increase attendee experiences and exhibitor ROI. We believe that event organizers must become data-driven to increase attendees, on-site efficiency, prove the ROI to exhibitors in a tangible way, and better compete against other media.

As a Strategic Account Manager, my goal is to help organizations develop event monetization strategies while building community and engagement.

Strategic Account Manager

- Promoted to Director to build and deploy highly tailored strategic projects and programs for partnerships, leading a team of 2 senior managers and 2 account managers to oversee 130+ sponsor companies across 300+ individual accounts and 40+ events and online initiatives, annually. Personally responsible for the account management of top-level sponsors accounts.
- Exceeded personal revenue goals YoY with a successful track record for upsells and new business, oversaw multi-million dollar deals in partnership revenue and in-kind partnerships. Accounts included: Amazon, Meredith Corporation, YouCam Makeup, Sephora, P&G, Wells Fargo, Financo++.
- Drove client listening and client service, first; coached team of 4 to target needs, showcase and negotiate with unique value adds, and execute seamless implementations that guaranteed incremental business growth.  
- Formed strategic partnership with fellow cosmetic association to sponsor a failing awards category for hallmark industry event; partnership solution boosted submission revenue to 300% over goal, transforming it into the most popular awards category and increasing company visibility to a new demographic.
- Identified untapped revenue stream for webinars to add to online initiatives; aligned with marketing team to create cross-departmental protocols, pricing structure, and oversaw the design of the selling toolkit. Since creation in 2018, revenue budget has increased by 200% YoY.
- Created sponsorship program for new Digital Conference event; secured 19 sponsors for the inaugural event, exceeding targeted revenue budget by over 200%; project managed clients and internal teams (Marketing, Events, Programs) through launch.

Director of Development and Strategic Projects

- Promoted to launch comprehensive sponsorship strategy for East and West coast, cultivating and growing partnerships nationwide; led account management team to oversee 80+ partner companies across 20 events and online initiatives, annually. 
- Developed sponsorship program to launch all new events to create the West Coast arm of the organization; targeted brands for pitches, developed tailored sponsorship packages and benefits deals, and managed deployment of each program following deal closing. 
- Grew budget by 20%; launched new model for in-kind sponsorships to create mulit-million dollar value in free print ad placement, newsletter inclusion, digital web advertising, video development, signage++. 
- Managed 2 direct reports, Manager and Assistant Manager, fostering long-term career growth within CEW.

Associate Director, Development

- First development team member, hired as Assistant Manager, promoted to Manager of Development within 18 months; responsible for account management of all 40+ partnership accounts, ensuring program fulfillment on-site at events to post-event data and reporting to build impactful case studies for new business. 
- Managed multi-million dollar budget across sponsorships deals for 12 annual events and online initiatives. Partnerships included: Women’s Wear Daily, Meredith Corporation, 24Seven, Allure Magazine, IFF++. 
- Tasked to co-lead the board of the Young Executives Committee, acting as sponsorship liaison to build out a parallel, younger career series to establish opportunities for junior members. 
- Transformed the department from paper to digital, developed a streamlined sponsorship fulfillment reporting system with data and metrics that increased productivity and sponsor engagement and renewals.

Manager of Development

-Strategized all marketing and promotional efforts, from concept to execution within tight timelines for pre and post show plans, direct marketing/email campaigns, PR, content writing/messaging, product promotions, collateral creation, etc.
-Planned and implemented 50 domestic and international events (trade shows, conferences, client events, meetings); coordinated local and global Sales & Marketing teams in the UK, Australia, and China for event logistics.
-Developed a new leads process for effective ROI analysis, working extensively in Salesforce to measure event success, generate summary reports for each show, and keep track of client interactions.
