Let's converse.I'm Godwin Josh, a technologist, entrepreneur, and mentor with over three decades of experience at the intersection of software development, team-building,a bit of hardware and business strategy. I love science, technology and socioeconomics I cut my teeth in the world of technology as a child back in 1992, working with Animator Pro in DOS to assist my father in his client projects. By 1998, while still in school, I had already ventured into web development, mastering HTML and JavaScript. This early start laid the groundwork for a Computer Science Engineering degree and subsequent ventures that would change the technology landscape, one innovation at a time. Upon graduating, I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey, founding a development team that specialized in creating SMS software that utilized massive mobile phone farms. Over the years, we evolved into an enterprise that developed a range of products, from software for medical professionals to video streaming solutions. One of our flagship products, Livebox, broke new ground in the streaming server market, with customized modules like Podcast Streamer, Cloud playout, Cloud plus on-premise Transcoder, etc. In the realm of talent development, I took the path less traveled. I founded the IVB7 team by through fresh and young graduates training them from scratch in a plethora of technologies ranging from .NET and Python to Nodejs and Linux. Parallel to my ventures in India, I co-founded Altrosyn Technologies along with my decade long friend Karl Selander, with a focus on engineering and development in sectors like payment processing, analytics, and IoT. Just like with IVB7, I built the Altrosyn teams from the ground up along with Karl, imbuing them with the self-learning frameworks to evolve continuously. Beyond technical skills, I've also mastered the art of business strategy. I architected marketing workflows, utilized growth hacking tools, and even over-engineered spreadsheets to use as a viable CRM alternative for streamlined HR and accounting processes. My recent endeavors involve Big Data Analytics and Generative AI, involving custom training of LLMs for Voice, Video, Network and Data. Other than work, I love doing scientific experiments,hoping to benefit humanity someday, playing music as an amateur and of-course playing with my little kid.
