Started as SysOps #2 at Bitstamp. My activities entailed production deploys and building resiliency around them; working closely with trading dev teams to integrate the Nasdaq matching engine into our environment; design and build our websocket infrastructure (and migrate away from 3rd party services). During this time I designed most of our monitoring and logging infrastructure that we still use today. I used my networking knowledge extensively during this period as I designed and built our on-premise datacenter that hosts all our IT workloads.
