Human Resources Manager, Branding & Culture

Emumba brings startup agility to enterprise; working on cutting edge tools and technologies, clients include fintech, healthcare, and network enterprises, alongside internationally renowned brand names.

Key Responsibilities:-
*Technical recruitment, especially with respect to frontend, backend, QA, and UI/UX (from screening to interviews)
*Directly collaborating, coordinating, and actively working on process improvement in the frontend vertical
*Automating and streamlining various HR functions through tools: BambooHR, CultureAmp, ZOHO Recruit, JIRA
*Active research deep-diving into HR trends, HR tools, and global trend shifts
*Creating and implementing social media branding plans in direct collaboration with the design team
*Hands-on involvement in event organization, management, and planning at a corporate level
*Hands-on involvement in a variety of HR operational tasks, including data management, leave management, and employee facilitation

HR Officer 

Emumba Toastmasters Club

-Presides Over Meetings : take charge of the weekly proceedings, keep the agenda moving forward, manage procedural matters in the conduct of the meeting (the focus is on club quality and the members’ experience)
-Earns Distinguished Club Recognition: work together with all of the club’s leaders to achieve success in the Distinguished Club Program by encouraging education achievements, building and maintaining membership, attending club officer training and submitting membership dues, officer lists and other documents on time
-Recognizes member achievements by presenting certificates at club meetings, sending personal emails of congratulations and otherwise publicly praising the good work of club members.
-Leadership: the club’s representative at the district and international levels
-Provide leadership for the club whenever it’s required. This includes creating a nurturing learning environment and enhancing club quality by conducting well-run, energetic, interesting meetings; actively seeking and connecting with club members and officers; listening patiently and offering assistance; and resolving conflicts as they arise

Simplicity Technologies is an artificial intelligence based software house, utilizing AI to solve real-world problems. Clients are both national and international, dealing with large scale projects as well as niche forums.

Key Responsibilities:-
*Data management, including maintaining employee records internally and externally
*Hands-on experience in recruitment, which included screening, initial contact with candidates, and scheduling
*Coordinating with government officials on a corporate level regarding employee benefit plans, and actively working on finding the best possible plan for all stakeholders involved
*Exposure to formal interactions with various levels of management, beginning with employees, and ranging to upper leadership
*Practical usage of MS Excel to calculate health insurance packages which would result in the greatest benefit for the company and its employees
*Cross-team/cross-functional interactions with key software company stakeholders for employee wellbeing and facilitation
*Thorough usage of the software development lifecycle
*Active research and development of a comprehensive HR manual for the entire company. This required intensive research and internal data compilation
*Active research on employee skillsets, and possible training programs available to further develop both technical and soft skills. This included directly interviewing and interacting with employees at various positions
*Direct learning from veterans in the field regarding a flavour of each HR function

Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad

I was a research intern at QAU under the supervision of Dr. Mansoor-ur-Rehman. We conducted rudimentary research on the basics of Quantum ElectroDynamics, with emphasis on the ElectroWeak Theory. The research touched upon Group Theory, Quantum Mechanics, ElectroDynamics, and Special Relativity.
