As an organizational psychologist, I am most passionate about working with as well as for people. I started my career in a corporation and I couldn’t have wished for a better start! Working for a huge company with more than 40 professionals in the HR department provided me with an excellent overview of all key aspects of HR, from operational HR and recruitment to talent development, company culture etc. Leaving the corporate stage behind to join a startup was a huge game changer. Optiweb has opened new horizons for me and enabled me to do what I love most: - to support people in their growth and development; - to develop new practices from scratch; - to participate in creating and achieving business strategies and goals; - to work with enthusiastic and positive people. I am proud of being one of the first HR professionals in Slovenia with the title Chief Happiness Officer. For me, however, the role of a CHO goes far beyond keeping everyone happy and entertained. I see its main purpose in working together with the employees to develop a positive workplace atmosphere, where transparency, mutual respect and pursuing the same goal are the key values. I also strongly believe in the power of sharing - be it knowledge, ideas or good practices. This is why mentoring and contributing to a better working environment are always my top priorities.
