As a Research Specialist at Rakuten Kobo, I apply my data analysis, machine learning, and NLP skills to analyze surveys, track and optimize customer satisfaction, and conduct pricing research. I use various statistical techniques and tools, such as SQL, Excel, Python, and R, to analyze large datasets and extract key insights that inform business decisions and strategies. I have a Master of Science degree in Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience from the University of Sheffield, where I developed somatotopic cortical maps from simulated sensory input using TouchSim (supervisor: Hannes Saal). I am interested in topics such as cognitive development and their application in the development of more advanced artificial intelligence.
