UseDem project is a brand childe of Russian designer Xenia who has been active within realm of denim design for many years. Having witness the decay of many denim garment, she crated UseDem project as a sustainable way to not only recycle these castaways but take the love one step further and give that denim wear a freshly upcycled makeover.
 
UseDem project target jeans apparel sector. It promotes zero waste concept during the production stage and close the loop of supply chain at retail stage and final consumer.
UseDem upcycle production waste, unsold and stocked garment and end-user worn out cloth in to the bags assortment.
 
UseDem works in three directions:
1. Consulting. Upcycle production waste with factories and convert stocked, unsold garment in to marketable product with Brands and Retailers.
2. Product. Production and sale of product made by denim upcycling.
3. Education program. Launch workshops to create a conscious consumer minds in regards to impact of high level of discarded close in fashion industry.
 
Everything what is considered as a Wastage from factory, retail or even your wardrobe is the raw material for UseDem project.

useDEM, a limitless textile upcycling solution for textile waste at factory scale. 

Working with brands such as Levi’s, Adidas, W Hotel, Guess, ASICS , and others, we upcycle surplus textiles and reengineer them into corporate gifts, upcycled collections, and organize upcycle workshops.

We create profit out of textile waste and we are direct ESG solution since 2015 in China 🇨🇳 


useDEM upcycles textile waste on a factory scale, and within one project, we can upcycle up to a ton of waste, saving a huge amount of natural resources and transforming waste into profit.

useDEM not only provides companies with a solution for textile waste but also offers tangible impact calculation and supports companies in sustainable development to build a strong reputation and engage customers.

As a fashion designer, I have undergone a transformation in my understanding of the designer's mission in the 21st century. I believe that products should be designed to be sustainable. Originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, I relocated to China in 2011 to work closely with denim factories. With 14 years of experience in mass production within the textile industry, I made the decision in 2015 to establish the useDEM upcycle brand to transform the industry.
