As the Zonal Head of Procurement at Hindustan Petroleum, a prestigious Maharatna company of India, I oversee the end-to-end procurement activities for 2 states in Retail, Direct Sales, SOD, and LPG departments, including 3rd state for LPG. I lead a team of 3 employees and collaborate with multiple SBU including Finance, HR, Marketing, Legal, and Audit streams to ensure fair, ethical, and transparent procurement practices. I also foster relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers, and manage requisition, tendering, bid evaluation, rationalization, negotiation, and purchase order preparation. With 19+ years of experience in the oil and energy sector, I have navigated diverse profiles across various departments, such as Terminal Head, terminal operations, pipeline projects, transportation, safety, and quality. I have managed seamless supply of petroleum products to 250+ customers across five districts with average monthly sale of 24000+ KL. I have also executed complex and challenging projects, such as 2 Nos Cross Country Pipeline Projects, Revamping of TT calibration facility, energy saving VRU project etc. with high efficiency and innovation. I'm an AI & Data Science Enthusiast, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from CSSC and Certified Procurement Professional from IIPMR with B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Roorkee and GMPE from IIM Lucknow. These provide me a robust technical and professional foundation with the ability to lead and execute complex assignments with finesse.
