In 2015, I started a Wordpress blog because I loved storytelling. I became so obsessed with the digital world, that it changed the course of my career: → 2017: Went to law school in London because becoming a lawyer was my childhood dream. → 2017: Rebranded my blog to share travel stories, lifestyle recs & life at uni updates. I was on a high >20k UMV, 300k+ Pinterest impressions and features on the uni socials. → 2018: Attended a bloggers retreat in Bali. Had a fabulous time. The hostess offers me my first VA & content creation job. Obviously, I say yes. → 2019: Still in law school, landed my second client through Instagram. I'm learning about email marketing, funnel design, branding, product development, community building — I’m exhausted but hustling. → 2019: Traveled to Australia over summer & meet the love of my life, a Dutchman named Oscar. → 2020: Covid hits. I fly back home to Seychelles before borders close. I graduate remotely & decide not to continue with law. I spend the year building my portfolio of freelance clients and in-house projects. Services: digital marketing strategy but I’m dabbling in people management, ops and systems. → 2021 - 2022: Launched my first coaching program for aspiring freelancers wanting to go full time with their service business. I work with over 100 freelancers through group and 1:1 coaching. I’m still working with in-house doing with brands and teams. → 2023: I launch The Seychelles Retreats. We host our first retreat in October. I fall in love with events. I get invited to come on as Head of Marketing for a new e-comm health and wellness startup. I say yes. → 2024: I lead my first business retreat with guests from all over the world for 7 days of luxurious masterminding. In September, Oscar and I move from Seychelles to the Netherlands. → 2025: … to be continued. My career has been wibbly wobbly, but I’ve loved every minute of it. Today, I help brands and teams with digital marketing and business growth strategy, using all the experiences and skills I’ve sharpened over the past 10 years. I’m big on heart, integrity and curiosity in everything I do. Because growth that matters?
