Vahyalajah Eunice is a first-class graduate of Petroleum and Gas Engineering from Nile University of Nigeria, earning an exceptional CGPA of 4.99/5.0. She was recognized as the Overall Best Graduating Student (1st Runner-Up) and the Best Graduating Female Student in both the Faculty of Engineering and the Department of Petroleum and Gas Engineering, showcasing her commitment to academic excellence and leadership. Her final-year research project focused on Hydrocarbon Backallocation Using Machine Learning, where she applied advanced algorithms to optimize production forecasting in marginal fields. This work highlights her passion for leveraging data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the oil and gas sector. Eunice served as President of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Nile University Chapter, leading initiatives that fostered professional development and mentorship. As an Energy4me Ambassador with SPE International, she inspired young learners by organizing STEM outreach programs and advocating for careers in the energy industry. Her professional experience includes internships at Cyphercrescent Ltd., NUPRC, and Arab Oil and Gas, where she contributed to examining field development plans, promoting safety, health, and environmental policies, conducting reserves estimation, handling drilling proposals, and participating in seismic acquisition and interpretation. Additionally, she worked in the Research and Development team, solving Oil & Gas problems using machine learning and petroleum software for reservoir and tubing representation. Eunice also gained international exposure as the only female Nigerian student delegate selected for the 2023 International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) in Bangkok, Thailand. Among her many accolades are the Girl in STEM (GIS) Award, Outstanding Academic Performance Award, IWCF Level 1 Certification, and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Silver Standard Award.
