I could, of course, write about every job that I've had, but most of them were just a way to get by until I finished my degree or got qualified enough for something better. The first real opportunity for my career was at Sofia Flight Training. There, I started with a complete lack of knowledge about flight simulators and the aviation simulation industry as a whole. I started absorbing knowledge of the many fields that the industry incorporates with thirst and passion. After two and a half years, I advanced to the position of lead engineer for the B737 FFS at the training center. In addition to that, I was a shift supervisor and part of the software development team. I took part in designing a facility monitoring system as well as developing visual and other systems for the cabin crew training devices in the center. I also took the opportunity to fix and upgrade the software on the B737 FFS, which required me to learn a bit about the Fortran programming language and VMS OS. Meanwhile, I used my free time to develop more skills. I took programming courses at SoftUni in Sofia and different courses and books on many subjects. Because of this, I was able to switch careers easily and am currently a full-time software developer at RazorLabs. There, I participate in developing all kinds of different and interesting projects. This keeps my thirst for knowledge satiated, as I am acquiring new skills almost every single day.
