Director, Learning Innovation & Technology

Designed, built and executed on an early talent strategy to ensure a strong and diverse workforce that met the future needs of RBC. 
Built a pipeline of technical early talent from top schools, recruiting over 800 students throughout the year into our technology group.
Designed and piloted the award-winning RBC Amplify program, an intensive innovation program for students in 2016; doubled the program to 64 students in 2017 and extended global reach to include Minneapolis, New Jersey, and Luxembourg.

Lead the design, build and roll-out of a responsive web app to support the identification of top talent and student engagement activities across technology.

Manager, Talent Intake and Management

•	Developed the detailed execution plan and framework for the inaugural IT Rotational Program under the Retail Credit Transformation initiative
•	Responsible for the recruitment and on-boarding of 10 candidates, identification of work assignments, selection of mentors, development of employee goals and capabilities, performance management, career coaching, and deployment of associates upon program completion
•	Identify and manage overall program costs and budgets of $1.1M
•	Build in depth knowledge of workplace and workforce trends and incorporate findings into the overall program structure and management of the programs
•	Establish, develop, maintain and manage strong relationships with HR Recruitment, RCTT senior management team, mentors and program candidates
•	Draw upon own internal network to facilitate exposure of associates to senior leaders and diverse breadth of activities
•	Promote innovative or improved methods to get the work done and implement best practices
•	Ensure consistent, efficient communication and reporting on initiatives to executive management & key stakeholders
•	Track alumni activities and report on career progression to executive steering committee

Manager, IT Rotation Program

•	Act as the single point of contact for all resource requests across GTO Applications (2500+ FTE) (Full-time, part-time, co-op and onshore/offshore contract resources (3rd party and premium vendors)
•	Act as key resource to ensure best practices and lessons-learned are applied, leveraged and shared for all delivery methods across GTO Applications
•	Head a multi-million dollar mission critical manual reconciliation of overdue invoices to resolve outstanding liabilities, process more timely payments to vendors and reduce reputational risk
•	Develop innovative and results oriented resourcing strategies using industry knowledge, best practices and experience
•	Ensure project resources are available, when needed, with necessary skill sets to meet project date commitments
•	Ensure that robust on and off-boarding processes exist to streamline and enhance resource effectiveness and minimize risk to the organization
•	Ensure that GTO Applications has the appropriate balance of resource types across and within its groups to optimize enterprise wide project delivery and contain/reduce costs
•	Lead an effective and efficient team of full-time and contract staff with the goal of enhancing project delivery capability and employee skill sets across GTO Applications
•	Work closely with colleagues and peers in other functional areas and externally (HR, Recruitment, Universities, Contract Suppliers) to consistently secure top level resources
•	Provide a central point of contact and coordinate all project resource requests from Project Managers and management
