→ Perplexity Comet: opening multiple tabs (i.e. different vendors, market reports, papers) and then asking the Assistant to run side-by-side comparison with @ tabs feature.

→ MS Copilot: Copilot Search to look for all client-related or project-related materials (docs, recordings, notes, people etc.)

→ Notebook LM: quizzes and flashcards → I upload all my training materials as sources and ask to generate quizzes and flashcards to reuse them during the training.

→ Gemini: Nano Banana (personal use case) → dropping selfies from tourist destinations and let it remove random people on the background (or flip those city landmark letters back to normal 😅)

→ ChatGPT: combination of Connectors and Scheduled tasks → now you literally can automate tasks with ChatGPT, sharing a practical use case in the carousel.

10 AI workflows you'll want to steal

🎤 Since when do speakers have to pay to speak? ⬎


This morning I had an interesting exchange with an event organizer here in Frankfurt.

They invited me to speak at the upcoming business conference. 
Sounded great — good audience and I looove speaking about all things AI.

"Probably some nice contacts and interesting discussions. And it's right here in Frankfurt" - I thought.

But then came the conditions:
“As a speaker, you’re required to purchase 5 full tickets. You may resell them to your audience, but if not, the cost and risk is on you.”

I had to reread it twice.

...

By now I was invited to speak at conferences and client events across the world:
→ Digital x AI conferences in Germany like MKK and digital excellence 
→ Data & AI events in Georgia, Greece, the UK, and the US
→ Guest lectures at universities (and even running the lectures myself)
→ Invite-only premium client events

Not to mention multiple podcasts, webinars and roundtables... 
 
Did I mention many of them were paid speaking gigs? 
And if not, I received free passes to share with my network (plus some nice goodies).

But buying tickets worth >€2000, reselling them, and carrying the financial risk? That’s a first...

How would you feel in this case? 

This is how I felt: devalued, disrespected — almost like those ‘experts’ who pay $10,000 to be featured in a no-name magazine just to look like they’ve made it.

I even asked ChatGPT whether my reaction was fair (my request sounded something like "Is it even legal?!")

Turned out: it is! Here’s how ChatGPT put it:

"It’s technically legal but very unprofessional if the event positions itself as a serious business platform"

Anyways, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this: Am I overreacting? Or is this becoming a new “normal” in the conference world?

P.S. On a positive note: there are professional ways to run things. For example, I’m part of the Women of AI Agency, led by the wonderful Sharona Hutton and Jamie-Lee Hutton. They negotiate best rates, tirelessly promote their speakers, and even compensate us for monthly community calls. That’s what I call respect and transparency.

What happens when you put learning experts, entrepreneurs, and AI experts in one room?

→ Selfies magically turned into dogs (mine looked disturbingly realistic… with arms 🤣)
→ Random games in the middle of the workday (hashtag gamified)
→ More food than we could ever eat
→ And yes - one fully working AI agent (Marcel Claus-Ahrens  built my dream setup in under 20 minutes: it takes my webinar/meeting recordings and automatically repurposes them into content ideas + LinkedIn posts, aligned with my brand voice. I’ve wanted this forever!)

A couple of months ago, I started collaborating with Bots & People

There’s nothing better than hearing this from your AI training participant:
“I built a workflow that finally solved this problem for us!”

Recently, I ran No-Code Builder journey at AppsFlyer (together with Heather Murray and AI for Non-Techies).
We covered building assistants, automations, and AI agents.

A few weeks later, one participant shared this:

“My team had a recurring problem: each week one person was assigned as on-call and ticket gatekeeper. Google Calendar only reminded on the first day. For the rest of the week there were no reminders and sometimes tasks got forgotten. So I built a daily reminder workflow on Make, which notifies the assigned person every day about their on-call and gatekeeping responsibilities. This solution has been very effective so far.”

This is exactly the kind of transformation I care about most:

Guess where most of the companies are today in their AI adoption journey?

And the problem is often not the lack of training, the problem is the lack of transfer.

→ Get space to experiment safely
→ Get support if things break
