You may be surprised

Everything is figureoutable.   
 
A big breakthrough for many of my clients. 
 
(𝘈𝘴 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘢𝘴 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘲𝘶𝘰𝘵𝘦,  
𝘐 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘱 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢  
𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘦 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘦𝘰. 🙏) 
 
 
"Everything is figureoutable" is a mindset. 
 
And it combines two things: 
 
→ growth mindset 
→ self-efficacy 
 
A growth mindset is believing that you can  
expand and improve in any given skill.  
 
Self-efficacy is believing in your ability  
to figure things out no matter what.  
 
 
Here are 4 ways to apply it in your life:  
 
1️⃣ Stay curious. 
 
→ If you're already an expert, stay curious.  
→ If you feel stuck, stay curious.  
→ If you've failed, stay curious.  
 
 
2️⃣ Don't measure your first attempt  
against someone else's milestones.  
 
→ Mastery is a process. 
→ Imperfect action > no action. 
→ You have to be bad before you are good. 
 
 
3️⃣ Less assumptions. More questions. 
 
→ Don't assume anything about others. 
→ Stay curious and ask questions.  
→ Gain new perspectives. 
 
 
4️⃣ Faced with obstacles? Don't give up. 
 
→ Every problem has a solution. 
→ Ask, "What's the first step?" and take it. 
→ Remember, everything is figureoutable!

How important is self-efficacy in problem-solving?

Quitting is productive.  
 
Quit the project that you didn't  
get around to for months. 
 
Quit the relationship that was  
already over years ago. 
 
Quit the career that's making  
you dread mornings.  
 
 
You can do this as a warm-up: 
 
Try not finishing a book, a movie, or  
a podcast if it doesn't bring you value.  
 
 
Remember:  
 
Quitting is not about losing. 
It's about gaining.  
 
→ Gaining you time back.  
→ Gaining your mental capacity.  
→ Gaining your happiness and peace.  
 
Life is too short not to be a quitter.

Searching for the perfect opportunity —  
one you'll never dread showing up for? 
 
Here’s a reality check:  
 
It doesn’t exist.  
 
Even someone whose job is to play with  
puppies all day will have mornings  
where they'd rather not.  
 
On the other hand, I met Uber drivers who  
told me that the first thought they have  
every morning is "Thank you for life!"  
 
Their reality: 
 
If it is a beautiful clear day.  
→ "Thank you for the sun!" 
 
If it's a severe storm.  
→ "Thank you for the opportunity to serve  
people when they need me the most!" 
 
 
Remember, the work that you do is not  
what decides the level of excitement  
you bring to it.  
 
Your mindset does.  
 
The good news: 
Your attitude is in your control.

Why is it so hard to make  
healthier choices? 
 
Because you made an unhealthy  
choice that many times. 
 
And it's not just about the reps.  
 
Unhealthy choices are way easier. 
Making them feels good and familiar. 
 
Your brain evolved to seek  
a path of least resistance, and  
not to deprive itself of dopamine.  
 
It makes sense.  
 
 
But what do you do now?  
 
→ Train your willpower. 
 
It is also habitual.  
 
So, it is built by saying "no"  
to an unhealthy choice 
over and over again. 
 
 
It is NOT easy. 
 
But here are 3 steps that will help: 
 
1.  Eliminate the temptation 
2.  Get social accountability 
3.  Anticipate tough decisions 
 
 
Example: 
 
Let’s say you made a decision  
to stop drinking sugary drinks. 
 
First, so proud of you! 👏 
 
Second, here’s how you can succeed: 
 
 
1️⃣ Eliminate the temptation 
 
Make sure there are no sugary  
drinks in your house. 
 
People who exhibit the most self-control 
are the ones that have to resist the least. 
 
Because they know better but end up  
in a situations where they have to say "no"  
to a desired but unhealthy choice yet again. 
 
 
2️⃣ Get social accountability 
 
Declare it to everyone:  
"𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘴𝘶𝘨𝘢𝘳!"  
 
Do you have people who are  
supportive of this change? 
 
Social accountability is what  
makes or breaks your progress  
towards a healthier choice. 
 
Surround yourself with people who are 
making the same healthy choices.  
 
Adjust your proximity with those  
who'll never change this bad habit. 
 
 
3️⃣ Anticipate tough decisions 
 
What may go wrong as you try to stick to  
your new habit, and how will you handle it?  
 
Can you anticipate scenarios where 
the temptation is likely?  
 
𝘌𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘵, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘥𝘰 𝘐 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘦?  
→ 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘴𝘬 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳. 
 
𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘧 𝘐 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘵?  
→ 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘶𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘥. 
 
 
Btw if you think this is overthinking 
and you can cross that bridge  
when you come to it... 
 
Trust me, don’t trust yourself with that. 😅 
 
 
It may seem like a lot right now,  
but soon enough it will become  
easier and easier to say "no". 
 
The hardest part is to start and set yourself  
up for success by doing these 3 things.

How can stepping out of the comfort zone benefit professionals?

What impact does the fear of failure have on professional growth?

Do you speak Own-ish or Victim-ese? 
 
Do the words you use to describe your life:  
 
→ command responsibility and intent, or  
→ place you at the mercy of fate? 
 
The language you use affects your mindset. 
 
 
Here’s the difference: 
 
𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗺-𝗲𝘀𝗲: 
 
You externalize control and  
diminish personal agency. 
 
You may use phrases like: 
 
• "Why does this always happen to me?" 
• "I could never do that because..."  
• "It's not my fault..." 
 
Such word choices position  
you as a victim of circumstances,  
not as an active participant in your own life. 
 
 
𝗢𝘄𝗻-𝗶𝘀𝗵: 
 
You take ownership and responsibility. 
 
You use words that reflect: 
 
• choice, 
• self-agency, and 
• personal responsibility. 
 
For example, instead of: 
 
"I had to work late because of the project."  
 
You would say: 
 
"I chose to work late to finish the project."  
 
It frames the situation as a choice  
rather than an imposition. 
 
 
Beware of your habitual Victim-ese in both:  
 
→ your self-talk and in  
→ conversations with others.  
 
You can only change your circumstances :  
 
1. By taking ownership of them 
2. By making intentional & different choices 
3. By strategically directing your mindset
