David Vallin is a highly accomplished and dynamic Consumer Products Executive with multifaceted experience with industry leading companies such as Comcast, QVC, Sunbeam Products, Sharp Electronics, and Macy’s. Currently, the Chief Revenue and Brand Officer for Naomi Whittel Brands, Mr. Vallin, leads all sales efforts across the company as well as being the steward of the portfolio of brands. The founder and CEO of the company, Naomi Whittel, is a leading health innovator in the natural products industry, a global advocate of clean and safe wellbeauty, and a New York Times best-selling author. Prior to NWB, Mr. Vallin was the Senior Director of Retail Merchandising for Comcast Cable, where he established the merchandising discipline at the company as well as co-created the supply chain function. These actions help lay the foundation of Xfinity retail stores. Mr. Vallin had a successful tenure with QVC. He held several merchandising positions including Senior Buyer - Kitchen Electrics, Buyer - Health, Fitness & Licensed Sports, and Buyer - Consumer Electronics. During his leadership, each group realized significant growth and accolades including the QVC Buying Team of the Year award. Prior to QVC, Mr. Vallin has held several management positions of increasing responsibility in marketing and brand management of consumer products as well as merchandising and retail, each with industry leading companies. From 1997 to 2004, Mr. Vallin served in several positions and business/operating units with Sunbeam Products, Mr. Vallin served in the following units: Corporate Development, Global Consumer & Brand Marketing, and Oster Professional Products. From 1995 to 1997, Mr. Vallin held two positions with Sharp Electronics Corporation: Assistant Product Marketing Manager and National Sales Trainer. From 1989 to 1995, Mr. Vallin held several positions of increasing responsibility in corporate and store-line merchandising for Macy’s. Mr. Vallin is an Aresty Scholar from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He holds a B.A. in Speech Communication and Business from The Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Vallin is also a graduate of Executive Training Program of Macy’s, “the Harvard of retailing.” Mr. Vallin resides in Berwyn, PA with his two children.
