Greetings! I am a 44-year-old location-independent personal productivity coach, and citizen of the US and the UK. My life purpose (as stands) is to ‘continuously expand my understanding of the world and then dare to share authentically the riches I discover.’ Many – but not all – of these riches relate to ‘personal productivity’ and I love to share these with my clients so that they can, quite simply, do the work they love with effortless and joyful engagement. Driven by a desire to conquer my own challenges with procrastination during my undergraduate years, since 2002, I have been researching and testing out a variety of productivity methods, tricks, and philosophies. Between November 2006 and April 2017, I gave my full professional focus to this – working full-time as a coach with a boutique coaching and training firm based in the UK called Personal Best. In April 2017, I transitioned into self-employment, continuing to work with Personal Best via an ‘associate’ role. Along with this transition came ramped-up travel, and I ended up becoming a full-out ‘digital nomad’ in August 2018. At present based in Dubuque, Iowa, USA (COVID demanded of me that I drop my anchor somewhere), I classify myself as ‘location-independent’ and am committed to sharing my personal productivity riches in not only the classic ways, but now also keen to serve the needs that arise in the space where personal productivity meets remote work, location-independent individuals, and digital nomadism.
