Specialisation: Military vehicle driver and radio operator (Mercedes 240/290 engineering and usage of the NATO phonetic alphabet for radio communications)

Highlights of the military service:

After four months as a Private, was selected to be upgraded to Corporal due to outstanding performance (during this extra education, was trained to dismantle and reassemble the weapon within 30 sec and to lead a team of 10 people).
The last three months, contributed to the supply chain department of the military station, sending supplies and equipment to other military camps. Apart from that, worked as a cashier at the military supermarket.

SW Developer in the Interior Lighting team, working with Simulink models, CarWeaver requirements, MX-Suite unit testing and CI integration in an Agile environment.

In more detail, the daily routine consisted of:
i) SW implementation (Simulink models) and the relevant unit-testing using Simulink Test or MXVDEV (following specific modelling guidelines and checking the MCDC coverage).
II) Usage of System Weaver for tracing the correct SW requirements and search for the relevant signals in the Elektra signal database regarding their attributes e.g. data type.
iii) Use of GIT/Gerrit/Jenkins for integrating the code into the develop or release branch.
iv) SW package documentation (json files) for every module within the interior light control and switch illumination function, using Gerrit, JFrog Artifactory or Zuul.
v) Contribution to diagnostics (DTCs, DIDs using CarCom), calibration issues (DTECS/INCA) or system testing (Canoe) for troubleshooting.
vi) Interface with communication protocols (LIN, CAN) and the AUTOSAR / ISO26262 standards.
vii) Harmonization with the Volvo Cars Agile Framework (Vira-Jira, Confluence) within the ART of Interior Trim & Systems.

Tasks within the Interior Lighting department:
a) Development of Matlab/Simulink models and conduction of the unit-testing (requirement handling and signal interpretation before the SW implementation).
b) Contribution to the CI/CD and creation of SW package documentation
for traceability reasons.
c) Dealing with diagnostics/troobleshooting and assist in system testing.
d) Working efficiently and transparently within agile framework (Scrum, SAFe).

Software Engineering Consultant (V.I.E. Program)

Brahmastra Aerospace Systems

Five-week online internship provided by Brahmastra Aerospace Systems, an Indian company located at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, which conducts Research & Development in the fields of Aeronautics, Astronautics and Defence.

The internship included:
a) A two-week training upon aerodynamics-related topics such as low speed / high speed aerodynamics, building and vehicle aerodynamics, wind tunnel, CFD theory and analysis (using ANSYS).
b) A three-week group project entitled "Space re-entry vehicle design and development", in which the four-member teams had to conduct the conceptual and aerodynamic design as well as to select materials for construction, manufacturing techniques and the application strategy for an aerospace re-entry vehicle capable of carrying four people. My task was related to the aerodynamic design and principle behind it, dealing with the aerodynamic heating and atmospheric drag issues that a space capsule faces while re-enters the Earth's atmosphere.

ultra-low emissions SMR civil aircraft which meets the future ATM requirements.
Project:  "Ultra – Low Emissions Civil Airliner: Cobalt Blue 2"
Position: Avionics Engineer (FMS)

Assignments: 
   1. Advanced 4D Flight Management System (A4DFMS)
Tasks: a) Defined the aircraft and system level functional requirements
          b) Conducted the FHA in aircraft and system level
          c) Conducted the PSSA using the FTA method
          d) Designed the system architecture
          e) Contributed to the COTS hardware selection 
          f) Generated 4D trajectory guidance laws using LNAV, VNAV and TNAV
         g) Provided the Autopilot with heading, altitude, flight path angle and indicated airspeed commands
         h) Participated in the integration of all the avionics team software.
   2. Technical Reporting Team 
Tasks: Contributed to the avionics and fuel systems technical reports, sent to Safran.

MSc Group Project Thesis

Klimamichaniki S.A. - Holistic Energy Management

Tasks: 
a) Calculated thermal losses and cooling loads using 4M (ADAPT/FCALC) software for the energy analysis of newly constructed buildings or apartments.
b) Designed AutoCAD Mechanical drawings for buildings where company would place a new product or system. 
c) Uploaded all company’s products with detailed characteristics in its new website, organising and grouping them according to their applications and customers’ needs.

Mechanical Engineer (Intern)

An ambitious software engineer with a strong background on matlab/simulink, SW development & requirements, avionics and mechanical/aeronautical engineering principles.
