Throughout my tenure as an HR executive, I have often been told that I’m “not like the usual HR”. I learned that people appreciate my ability to quickly and deeply understand the business, my tendency to offer options instead of mandates, my ability to see multiple sides of a situation and my desire to meaningfully connect with people. I believe in people first, not policies. I am passionate about doing the right thing, even when it is difficult or unpopular. I believe that everyone has something to contribute, and all employees deserve to have their voices heard. I have demonstrated achievements in the areas of leadership, engagement, communication and project management, highlighted below. • Built multiple high performing HR teams from the ground up, quickly assessing current and future needs of the organization and working collaboratively with leaders to align with strategy and ensure their needs would be met. • Led the effort to assess, explore and meet the caregiving needs of the organization, focusing initially on childcare, leading to the creation of a staffed Caregiving office. • Managed the centralization of administrative functions; facilitated efficiency gains which minimized job eliminations and resulted in over $1 million in savings • Provided leadership across the enterprise on M&A and sale activities, including due diligence • Onboarded and coached new C-suite members in multiple organizations, providing guidance and support that enabled them to quickly assimilate, set goals and make a positive impact
