I dared to follow my dream — and it became my reality. I create content about sexual wellness and healthy living through YouTube, my podcast, and my website. As a solopreneur, I collaborate with audio editors, graphic designers, web developers, and virtual assistants to bring my vision to life. I never set out to be my own boss — I simply wanted to be a well-cared-for employee — but the universe had other plans. In 2009, I left my career in luxury real estate and launched VenusO’Hara.org, a blog about sexuality. Shortly after, I landed my first book deal and co-authored Love Me Like You Hate Me with Erika Lust. I went on to publish two more books in Spain: Inglés para Pervertidos (Penguin Random House, 2013) and La máscara de Venus (Planeta, 2014). My work has been featured in The Guardian, The Mirror, El País, Atresmedia TV, Catalunya Radio, and many other international media outlets, in English, Spanish, and Catalan. Since 2010, I’ve also been a commercial actress and model, starring in global campaigns for Volkswagen Golf, Ikea, FIFA, Sprite, Pfizer, and more — and have appeared twice on the cover of Interviú, Spain’s best-selling weekly magazine. In 2014, my media profile attracted collaborations with leading sexual wellness brands. Today, I produce educational content for my YouTube channel and consult on sex tech, helping develop both physical products and wellness apps. As a member of Toastmasters International since 2019, I won 2nd place in the Catalan International Speech Contest (2022), which inspired me to host workshops and conferences on female pleasure and orgasmic manifestation. In 2021, I launched The Orgasmic Lifestyle Podcast by Venus O’Hara, where I interview thought leaders in sexuality, spirituality, nutrition, wellness, and personal development. The show ranks in the top 5% of podcasts globally and each episode ends with a guided meditation. More recently, I’ve expanded into ASMR meditation content on Insight Timer, and voice acting for top studios in Barcelona. In 2024, I released my latest books: Manifestación Orgásmica (Planeta) and its self-published English edition, Orgasmic Manifestation: Transform Your Life with Your Sexual Energy. They’ve been featured in El País, Apple News, Grazia UK, Bustle, and more. Currently, I’m focused on online courses, digital products, coaching, affiliate marketing, pleasure education, and product development consulting. My dream didn’t just come true — it exceeded my expectations.
