I am an entrepreneur and scientist who has founded two companies and regularly works alongside other tech start-ups as a consultant. Grouse Associates assists commercial clients with improving energy independence and building grid resiliency. Crane Group provides grant development strategy for tech start-ups seeking non-dilutive funding through Texas CPRIT grants and the federal SBIR/STTR program at NIH, USDA, DoD and NSF. My company has assisted over 70 companies, across the gamut from medical devices, biologics, digital healthcare and energy applications, to cancer and cardiovascular drugs, resulting in the successful award of over $12 million total in SBIR/STTR funding for my clients. When I'm not consulting and networking, you can catch me gardening and exploring the great outdoors hiking and camping.
