Hi!! 👋 I’m Véronique. Feeling stretched thin between work and life? I've been there. As a former teacher turned entrepreneur and founder, I discovered something powerful: work doesn't have to consume your entire life. In fact, it shouldn't. 14 years ago, I took a leap from classroom teaching to found my first business where I help high school students excel academically, achieve top grades, and gain acceptance into prestigious universities like Dartmouth College. That successful transition taught me that with the right strategies, you can create a life where work integrates seamlessly - instead of taking over. Today, I've expanded my impact to help leaders, founders, and ambitious professionals in their lives and careers. What I Do: • Help entrepreneurs and ambitious professionals build powerful personal brands on LinkedIn • Guide professionals in designing purposeful lives and careers that align with their values. • Share science-backed strategies for leadership, growth, and balanced living My impact: → #5 UK Female Creator (Favikon, November 2024) → Generated 53+ million impressions sharing actionable insights → Coach founders and executives on personal branding and purposeful living → Built an engaged community of 81 000+ followers since starting last year in 2023. → Generated $1,150+ million in earned media value based on the $30CPM benchmark (Shield, 2024) → Publish "Linked And Lift," a weekly newsletter helping thousands of readers and professionals like you thrive But it’s not about the metrics. It’s about making a positive impact on people's lives and on the world and designing a life I’m excited to wake up to every day. How We Can Work Together: As a founder, mum of two, and coach, I understand the juggle and the real-world challenges of balancing ambition with personal life. I have a a deep understanding of the pressures leaders face today. That's why I focus on practical, implementable strategies that help you: ✅ Lead with purpose and impact. ✅ Build and monetize your personal brand on LinkedIn. ✅ Design a balanced life where work and well-being coexist. ✅ Gain clarity, unlock your potential, and create strategies for personal and professional growth. Many people mistake introversion for social anxiety. But they’re not the same. Being quiet doesn’t always mean someone is afraid to speak up. Here’s how to tell the difference: 🔹 Introverts enjoy socializing, but in moderation. They prefer deep conversations over small talk and need alone time to recharge. 🔹 Social anxiety creates fear of judgment. It’s not about energy levels but the worry of saying the wrong thing or being embarrassed. If you’re wondering where you fall, here are 3 key differences: 1. The Reason for Avoiding Socializing ↳ Introverts choose solitude because it feels good. ↳ Social anxiety makes people avoid interactions out of fear. 2. How You Feel After Socializing ↳ Introverts feel drained but not distressed. ↳ Social anxiety leaves you overanalyzing everything you said. 3. Fear of Judgment ↳ Introverts don’t fear socializing. They just prefer meaningful interactions. ↳ Social anxiety makes every interaction feel like a performance with high stakes. 👉 You can be both introverted and socially anxious. But they’re not the same. If socializing feels exhausting, you might be an introvert. If it feels terrifying, it could be social anxiety. 💡 Which one do you relate to more? I keep coming back to this young boy’s story. Labeled as “disruptive” for doodling… Now a commissioned artist. It hits close to home. Because: My son was that kid who "spent too much time 'playing' on the computer".... Now a Machine Learning engineer, working with computers for a living. And we see this pattern everywhere: ↳Walt Disney was fired for "lacking imagination" → Created a magic kingdom ↳Richard Branson dropped out due to dyslexia → Built Virgin by seeing patterns others missed ↳Oprah was told she was "too emotional" and "talked too much" → Built a billion-dollar empire by connecting through conversation What we label as problems often become superpowers: ❌Too talkative → Master communicator ❌Too persistent → Unstoppable force ❌Too different → Innovation leader ❌Too dreamy → Visionary thinker The transformation begins when we flip the script: ↳Not "How do we fix this?" → But "Where could this lead?" ↳Not "Why are they different?" → But "What might they see that we don't?" 📌 Your 24-Hour Challenge: For yourself: ↳Find that trait everyone said to "tone down" ↳Ask: "Who succeeded because of, not despite, this trait?" For someone you guide: ↳Notice their "challenging" behaviour ↳Research someone successful who shared that trait ↳Help them see their "disruption" as potential direction Because remember: Sometimes the very thing they're trying to dim Is exactly what's meant to light up the world ✨ Remember: History's greatest game-changers didn't fit in. They weren't meant to. They were meant to stand out. 🌟 What "problem" trait are you starting to see differently? 👇 Let me know in the comments💬 P.S. Repost this ♻️ -- ♻️Repost to help others see the potential in themselves and those they guide. 🔖Follow me @veronique Barrot for more like this.
