Prior to my civilian career I served six years in the military as a combat engineer. In 2005, I served as squad leader for a team conducting convoy security missions in Iraq. During the final few months of our deployment, I held the position of control center NCOIC at Abu Ghraib prison. After returning from deployment I finished my undergraduate degree in Public Relations at Northern Kentucky University. Shortly after graduating I received my first opportunity to work in human capital with RecruitMilitary. I was fortunate to connect with RecruitMilitary where I was provided a unique opportunity to learn a technology I'm passionate about in Salesforce and apply that knowledge to my passion for helping fellow veterans connect with meaningful opportunities. Currently I'm in a role with Salesforce where I help our customers leverage best practices and lessons learned to achieve success on the Salesforce platform.
