Hey! Thanks for showing interest in knowing me. Glad! I want to tell you about me but before I begin telling I-also-have-a-story on how-am-I-here, I want to inform you what I do - I am an Engineer turned Content Writer and Copywriter. I write short-form blogs, social media copies, e-mails, web content, and news rewriting. I also make memes, and funny tweets, and write poems. Now, here is how I took content writing and copywriting as my profession. I was in the 3rd-4th year of my Engineering when I first got to know that we can earn by writing content. However, I couldn’t get ahead with the content writing then, as I was preparing for government exams (typical middle class). I got interested in this work as I was always admired for my essays and I even won 3rd rank in an essay competition at the district level, in my college. In the final semester of my degree, I did apply for a few Content Writing internships on Internshala (Want to mention here that I didn’t know what the heck copywriting was 😊). I couldn’t get past applying to the internships. Things changed swiftly and I went in full flow for the preparation. But, as promised to me, I left taking any exams after I completed 2 years of preparation time. Done and dusted, I started looking for a job. In Feb-March, a few days before Holi, I saw a YouTube interview of Roshni Dhal, by Tryootech. Since I had earlier used LinkedIn in my college days, I was pretty hopeful regarding LinkedIn this time. This time, I got to know blogging, digital marketing, content writing, social media marketing, and all other stuff (I still wasn’t sure of what copywriting was 😊) Being a novice and innocent, I did a lot of unpaid and low-paid internships till the end of 2020 (the Pandemic fear). Then came 2021, I got a good-paying copywriting internship in January itself (Now I knew what copywriting was 😊). Got a job during the next lockdown, in April-May, 2021. However, I was not as successful in my job. Couldn’t bring much value to the table, I admit. I didn’t have enough to take it all on myself. Overpromised, underdelivered. Anyway, in 2022, I turned the table as I got my first international client (I'm still working with them), worked as an Intern with a top marketer, and did some exciting projects. Now, that I know what copywriting is, and what content writing is not, I'm as sure of bringing value to the table as I'm of your brand getting succeeded. But, hey! first, let's chat.
