Hi! I’m Vicki – I am an expert in EVP and Employer Brand, having spent 12 years leading on Employer Brand at Boots, BAE systems and Currys. Let’s face it, attracting and retaining top talent in today’s market is tough and increased competition and complexity are making it even tougher. I speak to organisations in the same boat every day. How to attract and retain their talent keeps them up at night because they know how pivotal it is to their organisation’s success. But sadly, it is rare they have the resources, know-how and headspace to tackle it effectively. The way I work with my clients overcomes this. My many years in-house means I have experienced similar challenges first-hand and led my organisations through them. Now, I do the same with my clients. I partner with them and guide them through, always with the end goal of a truly powerful EVP that attracts and retains the talent they need.  How I work So first up, I don’t believe in a ‘one size fits all’ approach to EVP. Each organisation has its own unique culture and mix of goals and challenges. So, I design a bespoke approach tailoured to each client. Next, we agree a delivery mix depending on the client’s in-house capability, capacity and budget. Some clients want to roll up their sleeves and use the project to build some of their own skills. Others are short on resource and need me to lead on all aspects of delivery. Either is totally fine – the important thing if finding the right solution for each client. Then, I partner as long as you need me. You might want some support setting up an advocacy programme or developing a measurement framework, for example.
