Vicki Ta's Linkedin Analytics

I am an MBA student at Saint Joseph's University, pursuing a certificate in Data Analytics. This certificate will enhance my skills and knowledge in operations and data-driven decision making, which are essential for my career interests in finance and data analytics. I graduated from Allegheny College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business in 2022, where I received multiple honors for academic excellence, including departmental honors and Distinguished Alden Scholar. As an accounting and finance intern at Southco, Inc., I utilize my skills in data entry and statistical reporting to summarize financial reports across all facilities, submit customer tax exemption certificates and vendor invoices, and analyze standard cost for CB items. Previously, I completed an internship with the Organizational Development department at Philadelphia Gas Works, where I updated employee training records, wrote reports based on training and organizational development survey results, and conducted research to support HR initiatives. In addition to my internship experiences, I have developed my analytical skills throughout my undergraduate and graduate programs. I used Excel the most throughout my academic career, from basic data entry in my previous internships to advanced functions for major class projects, such as forecasting, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables. In my data analytics courses, I am currently learning different data visualization tools (Tableau and Power BI) and programming languages (Stata, SQL, R, and Python). I am seeking a full-time role that would allow me to leverage my HR expertise, administrative experience, customer service skills, and analytical skills. The industries I am most interested in are healthcare/pharmaceutical, utilities, finance, insurance, and technology. I am motivated by learning new things, solving problems, collaborating with diverse teams, and making a positive impact on the organizations and customers I work with.
