Victor is the President of Ernest Victor Consulting LLC. The mission of his business is to help organizations recognize, understand, prevent and address substance use and abuse in their workforce and community. He accomplishes this through education and by helping businesses make positive changes in their drug-free policies and procedures. As a consultant and SME, Victor routinely provides education for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry, the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Prevention Alliance, the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General and many other agencies and business associations across the region.  

Victor also speaks across the nation about his journey of recovery.   Addiction consumed him.  He destroyed a marriage, was rejected by friends and family, lost his job, lost his home, spent all he had on drugs & alcohol, nearly died and went to prison.  Today he brings hope to others as he shares his story of "Freedom from Addiction" for such a time as this in our nation.

Drug Free Workplace PA Program (Gaudenzia, Inc.)

At the PCCD funded non-profit, I teach and help Pennsylvania businesses setup up drug free workplace programs.  Partner with PAStop.org and Drug Free World. Teach on creating a drug free workplace and the science of addiction at companies, schools, churches, rehab's and counseling centers across the State. Establish protocols, sales and marketing goals, pricing structure for services, thirty online trainings, marketing materials and giveaways for DrugFreeWorkplacePA.org. Work with web development company to design the website and create a customized LMS and customized CRM database.  Research, analyze and assess substance abuse risk and cost data from OSHA, DOL, SBA, CDC, NIDA, SAMHSA, DEA, FBI and more.  Distill results into compelling presentations in order to motivate change.  Hit over 140% of training goals, 109% of program goals and 110% of knowledge enhancement goals by November of 2015.

Monitor scheduled activities of a 100 client, 24 hour, in-patient drug and alcohol therapeutic community.  Document house events in the Staff Log.  Perform numerous daily rounds, assuring the security of the facility.  Search bedrooms and complete personal searches of new clients entering the facility.  Take clients out for exercise, drive clients to 12 step meetings and to community service events.  Randomly collect and drug test urine samples per Department of Corrections requirements.  Direct clients to meetings via the P.A. system and connect calls at reception.  Distribute medications to clients and document all medication events.  Monitor the health and safety of clients and if necessary take clients to the hospital E.R. or dispatch 911.  Track the location and count of all clients per Department of Corrections(DOC) requirements.  Immediately contact on-call supervisors and Pennsylvania State Parole if a Parolee escapes the facility.  Routinely work as “Staff In Charge” for the evening shift.  Completed two week Pennsylvania DOC Basic Training in April of 2014.

Provided high quality inbound, outbound and e-bound contact center services at a computerized call center. Customers included Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Chemical companies, in addition to Universities and the U.S. Government.  First year sales approximated $5 million dollars. Successfully managed all Liquid Handler and Plate Reader system sales.  Analyzed client processes to create custom automated solutions for handling biochemical assays, cell based assays, ELISAs, proteomics, genomics and cell culture systems.

-Surpassed 2006 Automation Quote by roughly 180% becoming a member of the Beckman Coulter "Inner Circle" program

- Reached ~180% of 2005 Particle Characterization Sales Quota bringing in over $2 M in the last six months for my region.  

- Sales region consisted of PA, NY, NJ, MD, VA, NC and SC.

- Customer base primarily included Industrial, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Biotech Companies, the U.S. Government as well as Universities.

Lincoln University

Responsible for the purchase, organization, management and maintenance of all laboratory equipment for the Lincoln University Chemistry Department.  Established SOP's for the Department.  Taught, mentored, counseled students from at least 20 different countries. 

- Setup, planned, taught and graded for General Chemistry Laboratory for 80 students in 4 sessions per week. 

- Setup instrumentation including FT-NMR, FT-IR, Magnetic Susceptibility Balances, Parr Bomb Calorimeters, Osmometers, Atomic Emission Spectrometers, etc. 

- Participated in meeting of International Students with Ambassadors from their own countries.

- Managed three Federal Work Study Students as Lab Assistants.

Successfully managed all Protein Sequencer, Peptide Synthesizer and Biochromatography system sales.  Promoted sales of accessories, system upgrades and reagents.  Sales region covered all of Canada and roughly half of the United States. Sole Proprietor

Certified as a Disability Owned Business Enterprise (DOBE), a CRS, a CAAP and a CFRS over the last five years Victor has combined his background in Chemistry, Drug & Alcohol Prevention and Education to teach as a Subject Matter Expert on addiction and the pathways to recovery.  He consults companies on how to set up drug free workplace programs, how to recognize the signs and symptoms of drug abuse and how to help employees that suffer from substance use disorder.
