This morning I found myself getting teary eyed watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Not because anything was wrong, but because sometimes the simplest traditions tap into something tender.

If you felt that way too, you are not alone. There is room to just be. 

Before the day got too busy, I prepped our holiday meal, bundled up, took Jax out for his morning walk, and then headed out for my run in the chilly air. There is something grounding about moving your body on a day centered around gratitude.

And in true Thanksgiving spirit, I also cleaned out a kitchen drawer that had been accumulating 25 years of life stuff. Plastic silverware, chopsticks, and all kinds of little trinkets. 

Letting it all go felt surprisingly good.
A small reset, a fresh start, a reminder that clearing space creates room for what matters.

I am reminded of something important. 

Success is not built alone. It is built in community, in connection, and in the quiet moments when someone believes in you before you fully believe in yourself.

And if you are someone who feels overlooked or undervalued, especially today, I want you to know this.  I am cheering for you.
