How do you find clients? That was a question I was asked frequently when I founded The Happy Executive almost 10 years ago. It was then that I realized how many super smart individuals don’t have sales experience and therefore don’t know how to get clients. I wanted to help them. They may even feel cringey thinking that they have to “sell” their business’s services. Hanging a shingle does not work. Neither does hope marketing. What does work is building a platform where your ideal prospects can see you and hear you. Be the Thought Leader. As their Thought Leader, you will effectively attract them instead of expecting them to show up automatically and hand you their credit card without asking. Chasing them does not typically work either. That could cause them to run the other way though. As the Chief Revenue and Happiness Officer at The Happy Executive, our team helps Founders and CEOs implement our proprietary and easy-to-follow sales and enrollment process with a tech stack and proven processes. We also teach social media strategies, create lead magnets and offers, and host virtual events for our clients, enabling them to focus on delivering their content and solutions to their communities.
