Vidal is the Associate Director of Community Outreach Services for La Familia, working on the With Us Initiative, funded by the California Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI). This campaign focuses on breaking down barriers and destigmatizing mental health services for youth in Alameda County, with a special focus on marginalized communities such as BIPOC, Latinx/Hispanic, LGBTQ+, foster youth, immigrants, and those with mixed status. A passionate advocate for youth empowerment and mental health. Vidal holds Master of Arts in Urban and Public Affairs, is a certified Mental Health Rehabilitative Specialist (MHRS), and has over two decades of experience in leading and managing community-based nonprofits. Vidal is also a spiritual man who participates in interfaith coalitions and community building efforts. He is happily married to the love of his life and is the proud father of two.
