I am a content writer, an English language teacher trainer, and an Eng<->Hindi & Fr-->Eng translator based in Mumbai. I am a Science graduate with an excellent command of English, Hindi & French. I am passionate about languages and have had ample opportunities to use my language skills in every possible way; be it teaching, training, content writing, copywriting or translation. I am always on the lookout for varied and interesting opportunities and projects that enable me to grow professionally, become multifaceted and avoid complacency. As a French language trainer, I have had more than 8 years of classroom experience in the Alliance Française de Bombay, teaching college students and adult learners. I also have a Certificate of Translation in French to English translation from the Dublin-based Words Language Services. Being fluent in written and spoken Hindi as well, I received opportunities to translate from Eng<->Hindi too and have helped my clients reach their target audience in the Hindi belt. Currently, I create interactive and engaging content and quizzes for print and online training material and deliver online presentations on English grammar and communication, online teaching tools and classroom activities and soft skills for early career professionals. IELTS training for students going abroad is another area that I am keen to explore. I also write marketing material for emerging businesses, well-researched, long form articles for blogs or newsletters on blended learning and teaching techniques, interior design, parenting and soft skills, as well as short copies for social media posts. In the past, I had also got the opportunity to create material for K-8 textbooks and workbooks. I am therefore keen on long-term collaborations as an independent consultant for e-learning companies, schools, colleges, language and soft skills training institutes and overseas education consultancies. My strengths include a passion for and a strong command of the languages I work in, my quick adaptation to a new project, strong research skills, a penchant for hard work, my attention to detail and a quest for excellence.
