• Designed an algorithm for “Morgan Stanley Capital International” (with FI Research
Team) scheme for optimal asset allocation to the investor portfolio, which strongly
competes with NIFTY Financial Services and NIFTY 50. This in turn required changes
for more than 150,000 existing investors.
• Restructured the “5 Day Margin” algorithm which gives 4X cash exposure for equity
investors with improved edge case restrictions.
• Implemented NIO (Non Blocking I/O) on Exchange Traded Interface (ETI) Server
which improved seamless communication to trade with Bombay Stock Exchange
through FundsIndia.
• Enhanced dashboard performance by more than 50% using AWS Elasticache, query
optimization and Java 8.
• Achieved 0% error rate by automating Mutual Fund transactions to Asset
Management Companies.
• Proof of concepts for AWS SES to cut down 70% of emailing costs (helps save $1500
every month), National Stock Exchange live market data using Elasticache, and site-wide pre-login search using AWS CloudSearch.
• Refactored the code base using Java 8 to improve performance on few modules and
reports, and resolved database connection leak which caused frequent DB outages
using auto-closeable feature.
• Developed REST API’s for a variety of modules used by the Android and iOS teams.
• Reduced 40% of P1 tickets by developing modules for internal teams.
