The team delivered over 120% of FY22 goals with an integrated marketing strategy. 

Introduced new tools to marketing tech stack including 6Sense, Drift, Sendoso, PathFactory, and Klue to support growth marketing, ABM and product marketing strategies.

As a member of the executive team, I built, managed, and led a five-person product marketing team and was responsible for overall messaging and positioning, GTM strategy, content, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, and thought leadership for Xactly's SaaS-based Sales Performance Management (SPM) Platform. Identified as a thought leader by Vista Equity Partners (Xactly’s private equity sponsor) and invited to share product marketing best practices implemented at Xactly with other portfolio companies at Vista’s Best Practice Sharing Summit. Recipient of “X-Factor”, for going above and beyond the call of duty at Xactly in 2018.

Led Global Product Marketing Initiatives: Responsible for product marketing globally, including all outbound marketing including messaging/positioning, product launches, content creation for sales and demand generation programs. Drove integrated campaigns and led the team during execution and increased annual bookings growth of over 25%.

Drove Thought Leadership: Repositioned Xactly with distinct thought leadership and differentiation. Created SPM Maturity Model messaging, which is now being used across all customer and prospect facing interactions. The model highlighted as a strength in Gartner’s positioning of Xactly as a leader in its most recent SPM Magic Quadrant analysis.

Delivered world-class Competitive Intelligence: Expanded CI efforts by ensuring appropriate resourcing and funding, increasing the number of win/loss interviews by over 300%, and implementing new technologies to automate the collection and accessibility of CI. Efforts increased competitive win rates by 20% over the last few quarters.

Initiated Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Program: To support the company’s increasing focus on large enterprise accounts, initiated and drove the company’s first fully-integrated ABM program with bespoke sales and marketing strategies. In less than 12 months, the program delivered a 30% conversion rate of SQLs.

Recruited as a senior member of the Product Marketing team to start, build and lead a vertical / industry marketing organization for [24]7.ai’s SAAS contact center offerings. During tenure, scope and responsibilities increased substantially to leading a three person team focusing on GTM strategy via vertical marketing and account-based marketing, and driving buyer personas for Product Marketing.  Nominated and won the [24]7.ai “Bravo Award” in Q2, 2017 for going above and beyond the call of duty in marketing.

Built High Performing Team: Recruited, coached and managed a three-person team responsible for driving all outbound marketing including content creation, messaging/positioning, launches, social, sales enablement, demand generation and customer marketing programs

Executed on Global Programs: Led global vertical and account-based marketing GTM plans to generate demand and enable sales across key target verticals and selected strategic named accounts. Drove buyer persona messaging and content for key industries. Generated 33% of revenue in pipeline for FY 2016 with integrated vertical campaigns and exceeded target within the first three quarters in FY 2016

Kony, Inc.

Recruited as a senior member of the Product Marketing team to drive all inbound and outbound marketing activities for Kony’s pre-built mobile applications across key verticals including banking, insurance, healthcare and retail. During tenure, scope and responsibilities expanded to becoming one of the key company speakers at industry events and also drove the launch of Kony’s new product line focused on a new target segment. 

Led Product Marketing Initiatives for Kony Apps Cloud: Drove all outbound marketing including messaging/positioning, corporate and product level content, and evangelized Kony at industry trade shows and CIO events. Drove integrated campaign planning and led the team to execute the programs in line with strategy, which led to an increase in marketing qualified leads of 25%.

Drove New Product Launch: Defined and drove the launch for Kony’s New Product line with MRDs, pricing, messaging/positioning, content, webinars, analyst/PR briefings, sales enablement and training. 

Coached and mentored Junior Product Marketing Managers: Coached and mentored junior team members with best practices in messaging, positioning, market analysis and sizing, and GTM strategy.

Genesys

Built, led and managed a six-person team responsible for position/messaging, content creation and outbound marketing for the Applications Software Group portfolio consisting of Genesys Contact Center and Alcatel-Lucent Carrier Applications solutions.  In the independent Genesys unit, was responsible for marketing and sales alignment and driving critical sales worldwide sales programs. Nominated as a “High Potential” into STRETCH, a leadership program for “high performers and potentials” for two consecutive years in 2010 and 2011.

Led Strategic Messaging for Applications Software Group: Created core messaging, content and value proposition for the entire business unit comprising distinct market segments and solutions. Led a cross-functional team across different organizations and launched the Application Enablement vision with press, analyst and customers. Drove executive communications and launched a new “state of the business” quarterly newsletter for the BU. 

Executed on strategic programs: Drove new customer acquisition in key verticals with targeted messaging. Enabled strategic global accounts teams with targeted Account-Based Marketing messaging and content, which led to an increase in cross-sell sales by over 15%. 

Led and executed key sales programs: Created a deal desk strategy to enable better guidance to sales on discounting. New strategy and policy lowered discounts globally by 5%, which led to an increase in EBITDA. Core Team member with Bain and Sales Benchmarking Index consulting projects initiated by Board of Directors and Executive Management teams and delivered a data-driven account segmentation for key geographic markets and a Top 100 customer program for cross-sell and up-sell.

Responsible for all outbound product marketing for VeriSign’s identity and authentications services business unit (now acquired by Symantec, Inc.) 

Led Product Marketing Initiatives: Drove all outbound marketing including messaging/positioning, corporate and product level content, and demand generation content including webinars, whitepapers, blogs and case studies. Drove integrated campaign planning and led the team to execute the programs in line with strategy, which led to a 40% increase in revenues and 200% increase in customers YoY.

Drove New Product Launch: Defined and drove the launch for VeriSign’s Fraud Detection solution messaging/positioning, content, webinars, analyst/PR briefings, sales enablement and training. 

Delivered Market Analysis and MRDs: Created strategic market to aid in 2009 – 2011 planning and budgeting process with updated market sizing and Market Requirements (MRDs).
