I have a rich, multi-disciplinary background that helps me tackle problems with unique and novel solutions. I bring a diverse set of mental models from chemical engineering, teaching, investing, sales, and the biological sciences. The synthesis of all of these -- Human Information Science -- drives my approach. Human Information Science integrates information science, psychology, and neuroscience to understand the mechanisms underlying human perception, emotion, and decision making. It explores the junction of information, networks, and human behavior. I am also extremely keen on understanding the patterns of human behavior through time and space.
