With more than 15 years of vast experience in the Finance Industry working for multinational top-trier investment banks and their hedge funds clients, Vik found a natural affinity to financial markets. He started learning financial trading himself with his financial background knowledge in 2011 alongside his regular job. After quitting his award-winning career (GE Commercial Finance, NBC-USA, e-Businessware Inc., Credit Suisse, and Morgan Stanley ) in the investment bank in 2014, he started manual trading and the development of sophisticated trading algorithms for himself. Vik initially traded the London AIM stock market for some time where he traded a few stocks such as QPP, QFI, AFS, SEE, and TOM successfully but soon realised that most of the AIM market was extremely volatile and usually had very low liquidity. He then started trading FTSE 100 heavyweights (Barclays and Lloyds) shares to avoid manipulations and volatility however they did not have as many opportunities as Forex, commodities, indices, and derivatives markets. As technical and market analysis knowledge that he gained could be applied to any market he found himself more at home with the forex, indices, commodities, US stocks, and forex options. Over time he has built a great track record in analysing commodities, metals, indices, forex and cryptos markets with great accuracy and publishes his work via his various social channels. His gold and dollar analyses are some of the most accurate and well-documented ones. He has trained over 30 select few committed budding and experienced traders from all over the globe including seasoned Chicago pit options traders with 35 years of experience, multi-million dollar portfolio owners, business tycoons and some of the best top managing directors and portfolio managers. He is passionate about education as he believes that market analysis is a skill that can be taught and used in the markets effectively. He has founded a start-up firm Vikinsa Capital Management in London with the goal of turning it into one of the best market analysis, trading, hedge fund, and education firms.
