To facilitate the movement and settlement of cash wires Morgan Stanley International Prime Brokerage had a mission critical legacy suit of STP (Straight Through Processing) applications. This included internal and external enterprise java web applications.These systems needed a complete renovation before they could be integrated with Morgan Stanley PB Matrix Application.

Technical:
• Design & Development of modules for new version of PB Matrix Cash Entry application in Core Java (Spring, Hibernate, JUnit)
• Design & Development of Cash Entry mobile application using HTML5 to facilitate authorisation of cash wires over mobile devices.
• Development of Proof Of Concepts & Prototypes for PB Matrix Cash Entry application using Flex 3.
• Maintenance and development of mission critical legacy applications.
• Analyse, monitoring, benchmark and document to resolve complicated performance problems.
• Perform functional testing and system integration testing.

Functional:
• Interfacing with business unit sponsors to elicit requirements and document detailed deliverables.
• Business  & System Analysis & documentation of processes/systems
• Interaction with business units and global support teams regarding production issues and queries resolution to provide L3 support.
• Plan, manage and execute UAT/SIT and production releases (turnovers).

• Owned over 20 legacy components and systems
• Detected and fixed performance problems in new systems. Was able to improve performance by 1300% and 800% in 2 cases.

LeadsAndDeals.com helped SMEs by providing a very easy and cost effective global platform. It covered over 220 countries and 50 major global industries to connect international buyers with suppliers through its online business directories, product catalogues and trade leads. LeadsAndDeals.com was a global B2B marketplace connecting buyers with suppliers all over the world including China, Korea, India, United Kingdom, United States and more. 
Suppliers, manufacturers, exporters and service providers could join to promote their products and sell trade leads. It was also free for Buyers & importers to search and contact suppliers. They could also post their unlimited sourcing requirements to get direct quotes or offers from suppliers.

Credit Suisse ExMan is a generic tool developed initially for Operations IT to manage work flow steps. Three separate regional instances of this tool were merged together without any business impacts. Global ExMan receives approximately 200K xml based messages per day via its JMS queues which are processed and presented on the GUI. Global ExMan was later enhanced to make it 80% configurable. This was later integrated with Retail banking and front office operation systems. A performance roadmap was created to improve throughput of Global ExMan by 3 times in year one.

• Technical design & system analysis for consolidation of regional systems spread across the globe. 
• Prepare OOAD based technical design documents in UML
• Develop POC and present 321 implementation models.
• Design, development and deployment of code and database migrations scripts.
• Weblogic 10.3 configuration and administration for JMS connectivity.

Various innovative modules with good looks, fast response times and security were created  to save cost, time and risk. 


Technical:
• Design and development of custom Ajax library to support new functionalities like Google Suggest search style search and an interactive grid to facilitate fast wire submissions.
• Responsible for design and development of new AJAX, Soap, enterprise Java based modules in suit of cash applications.
• Development and presentation of Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Development of middleware services based on MQ.

With more than 15 years of vast experience in the Finance Industry working for multinational top-trier investment banks and their hedge funds clients, Vik found a natural affinity to financial markets.

He then started trading FTSE 100 heavyweights (Barclays and Lloyds) shares to avoid manipulations and volatility however they did not have as many opportunities as Forex, commodities, indices, and derivatives markets. As technical and market analysis knowledge that he gained could be applied to any market he found himself more at home with the forex, indices, commodities, US stocks, and forex options.

Over time he has built a great track record in analysing commodities, metals, indices, forex and cryptos markets with great accuracy and publishes his work via his various social channels. His gold and dollar analyses are some of the most accurate and well-documented ones.

The US Dollar must be watched closely.

This year the dollar (DXY) has not been able to make any good progress bullish progress so far. It has spend majority of the time declining after hitting a resistance level and followed by consolidation. Now it is a level crucial level and time factor where it could be forming a base and getting ready for the next move. Irrespective of the fundamentals and news items, the previous moves have worked out really nicely in the past. So now again, we must revisit the possible scenarios for good trade and investment opportunities. Presenting an important analysis update on Dollar Index (DXY), EURUSD and USDJPY.
