At Thales, Viknes work on Avionics Maintenance and Operations, with a focus on the after-market servicing and maintenance for aircraft fleets. In addition, Viknes, also led the improvement process as a Business Process Expert (BPE) within his department, as he mainly worked on improving Time and Cost-saving initiatives on processes and applications through lean management and automation that helps to reduce man hours by 20% (Estimated 40 hours). Viknes have been a Certified Scrum Master (CSM). As an aviation professional and active communicator, Viknes is active in organizational campaigns to inspire and educate graduates on having a career aspirations in aerospace/aviation. Viknes represented the aero campus in the 2017 Airshow and was nominated as employee of the year for 2021 by EDB Singapore.
