Seen every “game-changing” update Meta’s thrown at us.
But Andromeda? This one hit different.
Not because the algorithm fundamentally changed.

But because experienced advertisers are completely rebuilding strategies that were working fine.

WHAT IS ANDROMEDA, REALLY?
Meta rolled this out in July 2025, positioning it as “revolutionary.”

The actual features:

Translation: Meta got incrementally better at what it was already doing.

This isn’t revolutionary. It’s evolutionary.

WHAT I ACTUALLY NOTICED
The algorithm became hyper-specific.

No.

THE CREATIVE DIVERSITY MANDATE
Meta now emphasizes “diversifying creative styles within audiences.”
Example: Women 45-55 interested in weight loss
→ Some prefer UGC testimonials
→ Some respond to educational content
→ Some engage with transformation stories
→ Some connect with long-form narratives

Run only one creative style? You’re missing most of your market.

Here’s the truth: This has ALWAYS been the case.
Andromeda didn’t discover audience diversity. It just exposed who wasn’t testing properly.
