Bill Lesieur and Olga Magnusson's work, "The Rise of the Agentic Economy," describes how NANDA (Networked Agents and Decentralized AI) can lead us to a true "Internet of AI Agents."

What stood out to me were:

- Decentralization. AI agents can operate autonomously, interacting with each other without a single central control center.

- Business innovation. Companies will be able to reduce costs, speed up processes, and even launch new revenue models through AI microtransactions.

- Strategic roadmap. The work provides a clear plan for implementing such systems while maintaining a balance between autonomy and controllability.

The future as I see it:
In a few years, companies will have not just "AI tools," but entire networks of agents that will conduct negotiations, optimize supply chains, trade energy, and even interact with regulators in real time. This will change not only business processes but the very logic of the economy.

- Agentic commerce is here: AI agents that anticipate what users need and make payments happen seamlessly - no clicks, no checkout, just context.
- India leads the charge: With its digital rails and ecosystem scale, India could hit a $175B Agentic Commerce market by 2030.
- Collaboration matters: Banks, acquirers, and merchants will need to work together to build multi-agent systems that actually talk to each other.

The paper "Cryptomercantilism vs. Monetary Sovereignty" by Jens van 't Klooster, Edoardo D. Martino, and Eric Monnet offers a profound analysis of how dollar-denominated stablecoins are becoming a tool for soft #US economic expansion, which the authors call cryptomercantilism.

Essentially, this is a new form of currency influence: if previously it was banks and Swift, now it's stablecoins and #DeFi infrastructure. #Europe, in turn, is responding with #MiCAR, a regulation designed to protect monetary sovereignty and prevent digital dollarization from displacing the euro from global settlements.

The authors draw an interesting comparison with the US #GENIUS Act and propose that the #EU strengthen the euro's international role, including through multilateral payment networks and euro-stablecoins.

Looking ahead, the world is gradually entering the era of currency competition 2.0, where the balance between innovation and sovereignty will become crucial. And whoever succeeds in building trust and a transparent infrastructure will likely set the rules of the game for decades to come.

Andreas Veneris work, "Decentralization, Assets, and Privacy in the Twenty-First Digital Century." Frankly, it struck a chord. Not because it's just another academic report, but because it so accurately describes what we're all feeling right now: the digital world, conceived as decentralized and free, is increasingly transforming into a network of centralized platforms, where control over data has become the new currency of power.

The author brilliantly links the development of #AI, blockchain, and semiconductors, those very technologies that are no longer just "tools" but essentially a new societal infrastructure. He writes about #CBDCs and #DeFi not as trendy terms, but as real challenges, between transparency and privacy, between security and control.

I was particularly struck by the idea of ​​the need for a kind of "Digital Bretton Woods", a global agreement on what the digital world should be: one with a balance between innovation and the human right to autonomy.

Looking ahead, it seems to me that this very balance will become the main battleground of the coming years. Between efficiency and privacy. Between speed and awareness.
And whoever finds the right balance will define the architecture of the digital age.
