We teach Computational Thinking to 10-15 year old kids. Our programs are aimed at advanced kids who are looking for intellectual challenges that go beyond what they study in the classroom. The structured program has courses across Python, Algorithms, and AI. We have taught students from  India, USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

Joined Lyft after Lyft acquired my startup FinitePaths. Architected and built the Machine Learning Platform for Lyft, which includes Feature Service for defining, storing, and accessing ML features, LyftLearn for ML model development and training, and ModelExec for large-scale online predictions and monitoring of models. * Led engineering for Amazon CloudSearch with team members across four locations - Palo Alto, Bangalore, Buenos Aires, Virginia.

* Successfully transitioned CloudSearch engine from proprietary to the one based on open source Solr.
* Recognized as a leader with deep influence across various functions beyond Engineering, such as Operations, Product, Business Development and Finance.

* Built a platform for large-scale information extraction from Yahoo's web crawl.
* Built a system for deep crawl using form filling and wrote algorithms to extract data from the crawled pages to enhance Yahoo's search index and other properties such as Yahoo Local.

* Won Yahoo! Hack Day (Yahoo!'s internal engineering competition) 3 times while I was there.

Research Engineer

* Designed and implemented a number of architecture changes in Amazon's search index to scale it to handle massive query and document volume.
* Rearchitected the document processing pipeline to separate business logic and search indexing logic to support Amazon's massive expansion in multiple marketplaces and categories.
* Recognized as an engineer with deep operational expertise. Primary engineering contact for many high severity issues regarding search on amazon.com and other marketplaces.

* Designed and developed Agent Developer's Toolkit in Veritas Cluster Server (VCS). 
* Cross platform implementation in Java (UI) and C++ (backend) that worked seamlessly across Windows, Solaris, Linux and HP-UX.

1/ Architected and built Machine Learning Platform at Lyft, including systems and services for feature engineering, model development and training, model deployment and monitoring.
2/ Founded FinitePaths, social Q&A with a strong backend ML platform. FinitePaths was acquired by Lyft.
3/ Conceptualized and led the team to build AWS Elasticsearch Service (now called OpenSearch Service).
4/ Built the distributed search engine for Amazon retail.
