I am the team lead for “Responsible Algorithms” and a principal investigator at the QUEST Centre for responsible research at the Berlin Institute of Health of Charité Berlin, as well as a visiting Professor of Medical Informatics at Birmingham City University. My main research focuses are research focuses are trustworthy AI in healthcare, AI ethics and meta-research in AI. Specific interests of his are robustness, transparency, xAI, bias, reproducibility, the translation of AI in healthcare solutions, and improving healthcare product development.
