As a former CFO, I discovered that procurement for SaaS suppliers has become very complex and time-consuming. The problem was twofold: buying software is an uncomfortable experience given the opacity of the market, and maintaining an inventory of these hundreds of suppliers is a long and painful process. As a result CFOs loose control over their budget and waste about 36% of their annual spending. That's how we cam to build Welii (now Najar). At Welii, we helped companies save on their SaaS expenses, growing from 0 to 75 amazing people, serving 180+ clients, and reaching €1.5M ARR bootstrapped. We also raised €16M to fuel this mission.
