Project Executive for a large Irish Financial Services client outsourcing contract based in Dublin. Responsible for complete support of the client’s IT environment covering Datacentre, PCs, Helpdesk, and Service Management processes.  Full revenue, growth and P&L responsibility for day to day service, programmes and projects. Leading a cross geography, cross business team to deliver IBM services the client.

DPE for a large Irish Financial Services client outsourcing contract based in Dublin. Responsible for complete support of the client’s IT environment covering servers, PCs, helpdesk, and Service Management processes.  P&L responsibility for day to day service, programmes and projects. Leading a cross geography team of  150+ people and building that team to ~ 400 people by December 2011.  

10/2009 – 10/2010 - Designate Delivery Project Executive

Key member of the engagement team for a multi year outsourcing contract. Working with the sales and solution teams in a competitive tender process. Five year contract  signed on October 2010.

05/2008 - 10/2009 - Delivery Project Executive

DPE for a large Irish mobile Telecommunications client outsourcing contract based in Dublin. Responsible for complete support of the client’s IT environment covering servers, PCs, helpdesk, applications and Service Management processes. Full P&L responsibility for day to day service, programmes  and projects. Led a cross geography team of 70 people initially and built that team to ~ 150 people by December 2008.

05/2007 - 04/2008 - Lead Technical Solution Manager

Lead TSM for a cross LOB Strategic Outsourcing deal in the mobile Telecommunications Industry. Led a large solutioning team  (50+ people) from the beginning of the Engagement Phase through to contract signature

08/2005 - 12/2006 IBM - Delivery Project Executive

DPE for a large Irish Financial Services client outsourcing contract based in Dublin. Complete transformation of the client's IT infrastructure covering network, servers, PCs, helpdesk and service processes. Full P&L responsibility for day to day service, programmes  and projects. Led a team of 30 people initially and built that team to ~ 70 people by March 2006.

specialists, operators, service managers and project managers. Worked  across a range of cultures and organisations to deliver a fully functioning On Demand Operating Environment in
EMEA. Successfully built an organisation from scratch and across cultural boundaries.

Functional leader for the Service Delivery of IBM’s Web presence for EMEA both www.ibm.com and w3.ibm.com, supporting a mix of content only & business critical applications.
This comprises the full range of IBM Unix hardware and software- AIX, WebSphere, MQ Series, DB2. Line Management responsibility for a 20 person team, comprising Systems Administrators, IT Architects and Project Managers.
Liaison with other IBM functions both nationally & internationally.
Program Management of the EMEA GWA Hardware and Software Roadmap and delivering on all commitments to our World Wide Program Office. Managing the EMEA GWA Service Improvement Project to improve our project delivery, change and problem management.

Complete budgetary responsibility for Network Service Delivery covering Capital Expenditure & Expense Planning.

Line management responsibility for a department of 15 Network Specialists.

Design and implementation of Local Area Networks (LANs) in the IBM Microelectronics & Server Division buildings in IBM’s Mulhuddart Technology Campus.  Design &Implementation of the IBM Campus ATM backbone, and deployment of the NetView/6000 network monitoring tool.
