As Chief Marketing Officer at Fire in the Zoo, I led brand, content, and growth strategy across a fast-moving B2C agency environment and helped scale a distinct creative vision into consistent visibility, voice, and market traction.

Managing everything from positioning and campaign architecture to team development, hiring, budgeting, and performance management. I built content systems that moved beyond channel thinking; designed to drive momentum across awareness, acquisition, and brand equity simultaneously.

While the agency’s vision and identity were already bold, my role was to translate that creative DNA into a scalable marketing infrastructure. I brought strategic focus to messaging, developed team workflows, and helped prioritize efforts that moved the brand forward without compromising its integrity.

The experience gave me perspective I now bring to every founder-led brand: how to protect what makes you different and systematize it so others can carry it forward.

As a Senior Analyst at Brandintel, I moved from executing research to shaping how brands made decisions.

I led the development of insight reports, audience models, and reputation analysis frameworks for clients across competitive, consumer-driven categories. I was no longer collecting data, I was translating it into strategic narratives that helped companies see where they stood, where they were vulnerable, and how they needed to evolve.

This role gave me my first experience working with C-suite stakeholders to deliver insights that influenced messaging, positioning, and market timing.

It’s also where I learned that insight alone isn’t enough.
If the strategy isn’t clear, and the delivery isn’t aligned, even the best recommendations don’t move the business forward.
That realization shaped how I lead today:
Not simply diagnosing the brand, but building the systems that help it scale with clarity, consistency, and accountability.

Senior Analyst

At Brandintel, I shifted from analyzing projects to running them.

As a project manager, I was no longer interpreting insights, I was coordinating people, deliverables, and client outcomes.

I led cross-functional teams through complex research and content initiatives, often managing high-stakes work across tight timelines. I worked directly with strategists, analysts, and executives to ensure the our work was on time, and had a tangible impact.

This is where I first learned how fragile execution can be without clarity.

Where deliverables stall. Where expectations misalign.

Where the gap between “good thinking” and “good delivery” quietly costs growth.

It taught me how to build systems that work across people, personalities, and pressure.
More importantly, it taught me how to lead when no one’s waiting to be told what to do, but everyone needs direction.

That balance, structure without rigidity, became the foundation of how I lead as a fractional CMO today.

This was my first exposure to brand at scale. I’m not talking about how it looks or sounds, but how it’s perceived, measured, and challenged in the real world.

As a market research analyst at Brandimensions, I monitored emerging digital trends, tracked public sentiment, and analyzed brand performance across major industries. I worked with raw, unfiltered data: the way customers talked, how reputations were formed, and where messaging either resonated or collapsed.

I wasn’t building campaigns.
I was studying the impact of them.

And in that, I learned fast that good marketing isn’t only creative, it’s directional, contextual, and deeply human.

That insight shaped everything that followed.
It gave me the analytical foundation I still use today as a fractional CMO and agency owner.
And it taught me the earliest lesson I’d later build a career around:
