As a dedicated family man with over 28 years of meaningful partnership with my wife Debbi and the joy of raising four incredible individuals - Sophia, Vinny, Jacob, and Elizabeth, my life is a testament to the principle that leadership starts at home. Balancing the delicate dance of integrity, compassion, and purpose, my family is not just my backbone but also my greatest inspiration (and honestly my greatest accomplishment). Transitioning from law to entrepreneurship, I've had the privilege of founding, nurturing, and transitioning several ventures, including Creative Learning Workshop, a couple of well-established web hosting companies, two health companies, and the innovative accounting firm Fully Accountable. Each step on this journey has been guided by a singular dedication to developing environments where leadership thrives from the ground up. I have had the privilege and burden of experiencing an exit from a company (multiple times) and also breaking a big one tragically. As a result of over 20 years of experience, building and leading organizations, I have decided to launch and expand Beyond Your Shadow, a leadership development and training company with a mission to help leaders embrace multiplication in leadership and train up the next generation of leaders. Beyond Your Shadow is not just an initiative but a movement I am deeply committed to. It aims to revolutionize and transform businesses by empowering leaders to create legacies that extend far beyond their individual shadows. Through our individual and group programs, I teach, educate, equip, and inspire multiplication and impact legacy for the generational growth of thousands of organizations. My legacy isn't measured by the businesses I've built or the awards on my wall, although there have been many, including multiple Inc 5000 recognitions and recognition as one of the top workplaces in America.
