MrBeast’s BeastLand Is Coming To Riyadh This Week!

What happens when the world’s biggest YouTuber decides the internet isn’t big enough for him? You get Beast Land - where clicks turn into catapults, “like & subscribe” becomes “strap in & survive,” and the algorithm officially goes on vacation.

Yep, Jimmy Donaldson is going full theme-park mogul.

Starting November 13, Riyadh will open its doors to a 200,000 sq. meter amusement empire inspired by his wildest viral challenges.
Think caffeine, chaos, and charisma rolled into a real-life rollercoaster.

This isn’t your usual “teacup ride and corn dog” setup. 
It’s pure Beast logic:
- Tower Siege — load catapults, aim for 60-foot tubes, pray for glory.
- Drop Zone — hit fast or plummet faster.
- Airmail — zipline + precision delivery = chaos.
- Dungeon Escape - find your way out before someone else does.

If Willy Wonka designed an esports arena, this would be it.

That’s one algorithm even YouTube can’t top.

YouTube Is Finally Fixing Its Biggest Red Flag… and Honestly, It’s About Time!

For the first time in forever, the internet’s most dramatic algorithm just did something borderline wholesome: It handed us control.
Willingly.
Soberly. IN BROAD DAYLIGHT!

Say hello to Your Custom Feed - YouTube’s newest experiment that basically whispers: “Okay fine… tell me what you actually like so I stop guessing like an overexcited toddler.”

As someone who has seen this platform recommend 20 ASMR videos just because I watched ONE mukbang in 2020… this feels personal.

🎯 Why This Update Matters
YouTube’s recommendation drama is ancient at this point.
Creators? Complaining for a decade.
Viewers? Lost long ago.

But finally, YouTube went: “Alright, alright - we get it.”
With Your Custom Feed, you can literally type: “More cooking”,“Less crypto bros” and “Show me travel creators who aren’t doing the same Bali montage"
And boom - the feed adjusts instantly.

It’s clean.
It’s direct.
It feels suspiciously… helpful.

🎛️ The Industry Suddenly Caught Feelings for ‘User Control’
It’s not just YouTube waking up:
- Threads is testing algorithm sliders
- X wants Grok to be your feed therapist
- Instagram has been almost doing this for years

🍿 But Here’s the Real Popcorn Moment: Will Anyone Actually Use It?
Users say they want control.
Users ALSO:
- never open settings
- refuse to tap “Not Interested”
- treat the Home tab like the universe’s default playlist

So why build all this? Simple.
Platforms want the optics of control. “Here are the keys. We know you’ll never drive. But look, we gave them to you.”

It’s PR, psychology, and product design all having some tea together.

🔧 YouTube Has Tried Things Before…
- That “customize your feed” test no one used
- The color-coded feeds for Premium users 
- The “Don’t recommend” button that did absolutely nothing
But this time? This one feels intentional.
 Like someone at Google finally said: “Maybe guessing user intent based on their last three clicks… isn’t science.”

Plus Google is in its AI flex era. Everything must now be “smart,” even your recommendation tantrums.

🔮 What This Means for Creators
If this rolls out properly, creators get:
- Better niche discovery
- More returning viewers
- Less algorithm roulette
- A chance to resurrect content that was unfairly buried
- Fans who finally see the stuff they chose to follow

For the creator economy? This is a signal:
- Platforms are shifting.
- User input is back.
 - AI is becoming a co-pilot, not the chaos gremlin.
Even a 5% tweak in feed behavior → huge changes in discovery, watch time, and revenue.

YouTube’s feed has always been a mix of: genius, chaos, nostalgia, existential dread...But this? This feels like a steering wheel.

Will it work globally? Who knows.
Will people actually use it? Probably 7 of us.

But if social platforms are giving us even 10% more control than last year? that’s a W in my book.

Australia is about to pull off one of the boldest (and frankly wildest) internet experiments ever attempted: banning everyone under 16 from social media!

This is a full-scale jolt that could recalibrate the creator economy across continents.

From 10 December 2025, every major platform - TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, the whole gang - must shut out new under-16 accounts and deactivate existing ones… or risk fines that hit A$49.5 million.


Buckle up, fam. The internet’s about to feel this one.
