Pieced together 70-page autobiography of eighty-five-year-old Virginia Garrigan from phone call interviews and letters. First edition book includes genealogy and photographs. One hundred copies of first-edition "Birdie" were self-published and all copies sold to family and friends. Large portion of copies was later accepted by local libraries. Second edition soon to be published on Amazon and Ingram Spark.

Supervised on-call shifts of six enlisted personnel. Installed and repaired computer and communication equipment. Wrote forty-page training manual and taught CPR classes. Earned Navy Achievement Medal and was honorably discharged as Electronics Technician 2/E-5.
